Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. *or, he will direct your paths*
Proverbs 3: 5-6

John 14:27

Joy and Peace in Jesus
Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philipians 4:5-7

Here, the Bible instructs us to not worry, but give it all up to God.

Cast all your anxiety on him [God] because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap pr store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
Matthew 6:25-27

Psalms 28:7 (English-KJV)

Psalms 37:24 (English-KJV)
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

Jeremiah 1:8 (English-NIV)
Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD.

Sexual Immorality

Do you now know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Niether the sexually immoral nor idolators nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherity the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name if the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Here, a lot of people try to say that homosexuals won't go to heaven, but it's just one sin among many. We are all sinners. It is the legacy of sin that we have inherited. It's in our nature and we can't help sinning in any way. We lust, we lie, we seek personal gain, all these are no lesser sins. But, we're washed clean of these and when we stand before God, he won't see this.
Getting into heaven isn't dependant on wearing a cross, always going to church, never telling a lie, being sexually pure, or never smoking. We can't help these things, but we're supposed to try. We try to please God, but we'll never succede. If we could achieve this, Jesus wouldn't have had to die on the cross. We try out of our love for Him.

Do not lust in your heart after her beauty or let her captivate you with her eyes, for the prostitute reduces you to a loaf of bread, and the adulteress preys upon your very life.

Proverbs 6:25, 26

It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5
